Falcon Northwest Upgrades the Mach V With AM2

The Mach V System

The system comes fully equipped, housed inside its trademark Silverstone case with an exquisite paintjob that changes color depending on the viewing angle. A tab at the bottom front door of the case reveals a set of four USB 2.0 ports and audio jacks.

Notice how the color changes based on the angle you look at it.

Inside the top door are the removable media drives. First, there is a Mitsumi USB 2.0 floppy drive with a built in multi flash card reader that takes Compact Flash I/II, Micro Drive, Secure Digital Card, Multimedia Card, Memory stick, SmartMedia memory devices. A DVD drive and dual-layer DVD burner make duplicating and backing up information a breeze.

We move from the outside to the inside by removing three speed screws from the back of the case. The first impression upon looking inside is "clean". Everything is put neatly into place and there are no unsightly wires or cables running amuck. Falcon believes in showroom quality and that is what you get with everything. The IDE ribbon cables are bent at 90 degree angles allowing for a precision look.
