Huawei Schedules 'Beauty' Event in London
Huawei's got something to share... but not just yet.
We're used to the likes of Samsung and Apple (even Nokia) teasing us with invitations to big product announcements. We're not really used to seeing similar invites form Chinese telecommunications company Huawei. The company on Thursday sent out invitations for an event it has scheduled for next month. In actual fact, they're not invitations, but save the dates. Pretty mysterious, eh?
The invitation doesn't give too much away, except to say that we can expect to see something beautiful. "Huawei Device invites you to a special moment to celebrate beauty, glamour and inspiration, in the city that embodies them all – London."
Huawei had a pretty big presence at CES 2013 in Las Vegas this past January. Most notably, the company announced the Ascend Mate, which boasts a 6.1-inch screen, and the Ascend P2, which boasts a 1.5 GHz K3V2 quad-core processor. There's also the super shiny Huawei Edge, which has yet to be formally announced.
This beautiful event will take place in London on June 18, so stay tuned and we'll keep you posted once the big day rolls around.

CaedenV Lets not forget that they are also supposed to be launching their own WP8 flagship. This announcement could be any of them... Or a more general release with a re-branding of their company.Reply -
cats_Paw Id rather Toms hardware did not make news posts like "rumors" "teasing" and "someone says". Looks more like marketing to me than real news.Reply -
falchard Didn't they copyright iPhone5 before Apple got around to it in China? If so they have a large chance at getting my money.Reply
