SilverStone Shows Off Mini-ITX Raven Enclosure
SilverStone was showing off its upcoming Mini-ITX Raven enclosure at Computex.
SilverStone showed off a smaller version of the Raven enclosure, one that will only house Mini-ITX motherboards but will still hold a full-size graphics card.
The enclosure features a rather unique design, though not one we haven't seen before. It is a lot slimmer than you'd imagine from a gaming case, but due to the PCIe riser, it can still hold a full-size dual-slot graphics card, which will be mounted along the plane of the motherboard. Above the graphics card it is even possible to mount a 240 mm water cooling radiator. It is unclear whether the power supply will be mounted, though based on the position of the opening for the power plug, it appears that it will be mounted in front with an extension to the rear I/O.
Storage is covered by a slimline optical drive bay, two 3.5-inch drives and three 2.5-inch drives. External connectivity will be handled by a pair of USB 3.0 ports as well a pair of analog audio ports.
The case is still under development, and so this is not an official announcement. That also means that we'll have to wait a little longer to figure out any information on pricing or availability.

Well since the case uses a PCI-E riser, it has to be wider than usual to accommodate the video card.10961266 said:That case looks huge for a mini-ITX!

Firion87 Well That is the same way I build my current case. Except I got a standard PSU.... So I would have needed only to finish my case, paint it and do patent troling like Crapple.... :))Reply -
jdlobb Looks like an awful lot like the Dell Optiplex i have sitting on my desk at work. No thanks.Reply -

First off, it does support dual slot GPUs. Please look up the facts before posting stupid junk. Second off, please fix your English as well. It hurts to read that.
