Antec Teases $499 Flagship Signature-Series S10 Case

Back at CES, Antec revealed that something big was coming, but we weren't allowed to talk about it. Today, mere days before the big trade show Computex, the company announced the S10, its new flagship enclosure. The S10 case is part of the new Signature-series of cases.

Unfortunately, this is just an announcement teasing at the release of the new case, and nothing more. Antec isn't giving us much information about the S10 case beyond the rather unrevealing teaser video below. All we can share at this time is that the case will have a "new design and interior structure," and that it will "definitely turn some heads."

The S10 will cost $499.99 and will be available exclusively in the U.S. through Newegg on the first day of Computex, on June 2. A month later, on July 1, it will be available worldwide.

And that's it! We're going to have to sit tight for a week to see what all the fuss is about. For now, we'll have to go by Antec's motto: "Believe it."

I think it will have a small air conditioner on the inside to provide cooling.

That would require a drip pan/fluid draining though.
Also probably a seperate like 500-700W PSU just for the AC, if not even higher.

Oh the expense of running an aircon all the time just for a PC would be massive. 27c/kw in Australia. Would be probably be $5-8/day just for the aircon if it was on 24hrs.

Also the fact they generate a butt ton of heat you have to vent outside the room.

    Antec?

No thanks. After their 902 I will never go back.

That's not an issue though because you just run the aircon in your room to counter the heat output of the case aircon. The expense of running my ducted system so I can run my case aircon seems justified.

The future sucks. $1000 gpus and $400 cases.

There has to be something for the rich to burn money on. Otherwise why bother being rich?
There are still plenty of $100 cases and $300 GPUs for the rest of us.

True enough. I'll never buy one but it would be neat to see it. Anyway my Solo II has been great, very good build quality, quiet, and not horribly expensive. It was the smallest good-quality full ATX case I could find that would still house a fairly long graphics card.
