Asus Announces A New Zen AIO
At ROG Unleashed, Asus announced a new Zen AIO PC.
The new Zen AIO Pro Z240IC will use 23.8" IPS displays, operating at either 3840 x 2160 or 1080p resolutions. The system will include up to an Intel 6th Gen (Skylake) Core i7-6700T operating at 2.8 GHz, and it can optionally be paired with either an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M or GTX 950M for mid-range gaming.
For storage options, the system can include up to a 512 GB PCI-E 3.0 x4 M.2 SSD paired with a 1 TB HDD. Users can also choose to just have an SSD, or have up to a 2 TB HDD without an SSD included. The system will also contain up to 32 GB of DDR4-2133 MHz in a dual-channel configuration.
Some systems will include a 2MP Intel RealSense 3D camera, which will allow for the system to be controlled by hand gestures. It will also allow for in-depth 3D video to be recorded or streamed to other users.
For connectivity, the system includes one of the new USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C USB ports, which will allow users to quickly recharge supported portable devices and to transfer data significantly faster than the older USB 3.0 protocol was capable of.

Blueberries GPU's are to weak for 4k.
Depends what you're doing. Should be fine for web browsing / streaming / Photoshop. -
IInuyasha74 Right, in these systems the 4K display is more for work purposes. Web browsing, Microsoft Office, digital content creation, etc. The GPU is likely intended more to assist with tasks and to provide some GPGPU acceleration.Reply -
zodiacfml Wow, nice specs! These ASUS people really know what they're doing. The question now though is the price.Reply -
Xajel Still waiting for ASUS ZenBook 15" successor with Skylake, 960M, USB type-C ( can be used also to charge the laptop )Reply
It will be awesome to have two Type-C ports, one on each side and both can be used to charge the laptop.. so we can charge it from both sides without the need to wrap the charger cable around... -
EdenGot This is more than a month old now, this exact model was announced at IFA. What happened to you?Reply -
