We've already seen SilverStone's Raven RVZ01 enclosure, but it is not until now that the unit is finally about to hit the shelves.
The case is a small-form factor case, which measures 382 x 105 x 350 mm. It can support Mini-ITX motherboards and DTX format boards, as well as an SFX power supply, short-dual slot graphics cards, and slightly longer water cooled or single slot cards. The graphics card is mounted with a PCIe riser, allowing the entire system to be fairly thin. Other things that can be installed include a handful of 3.5"/2.5" drives, as well as a slot-loading slim optical drive.
Pre-installed buyers will find two 1200 RPM fans.
Front I/O connectivity is handled by a pair of USB 3.0 ports along with the standard set of HD audio jacks.
The case is set to arrive in stores this week, with MSRP pricing of £50 / €68. No word on U.S. pricing yet. This might be a nice starting point to build your own Steam Machines.

Awesome we finally have something cool like the falcon Tiki. Im really lovong the price, looks like my next build will be a mini itx for sure!Reply
Now that case would make a nice Steam Machine.Reply
Newegg has them as wellReply
Also in that description it says this case can use full sized graphics cards. I really like this case a lot in the upright position! As others have already stated, this is an awesome Steam Machine case. I feel it fits in with Valve's original design intentions on what a Steam Machine should be as far as size and aesthetics.
Really would like to build a system with this. But only can put it horizontal. Fear that cooling is not so good then. Will wait for reviews!Reply
This is probably the best mini itx case you can get. There haven't been many really small, console sized ones yet and this is it. It will be the DIY steam box and it is very similar to the Alienware X51 in the design and the pcie riser card is awesome.Reply
Already ordered on Amazon along with a sfx modular power supply. This will be great for LAN partying. :)Reply

Awesome! Are the 600w sfx power supplies out yet?
Not yet through Silverstone. I haven't considered other companies since the only other ones that make SFX are either 300 watt or less or by unproven companies.BTW, for anyone who wants to order one of these cases, I'd suggest going through NewEgg instead of Amazon. NewEgg claims they're in stock where with Amazon I won't get the case until the middle of March.....
