As we saw in the LightWave benchmark, the FirePro W-series cards are the clear performance winners. We can clearly see that these cards have raw performance on their side. However, AMD specifically talked to the challenge of optimizing for benchmarks versus real-world applications at a recent FirePro press event. Seemingly, it'd need to sink more resources into the former in order to improve performance in SPECviewperf.
