Games are the most expensive applications from our test suite to build for, so let’s start with a good one.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 offers awesome eye candy, yet low enough system load that even the stock $550 PC can play it smoothly. This one isn't bottlenecked by graphics performance, usually, so should shine a bright light on the more capable processor/platform.
The $1,000 machine gets the job done at an amazing 2560x1600 pixel resolution, and the above results make us wish the $550 PC had also been tested at that high resolution.
