Drive Encryption
The Bitlocker Drive Encryption utility also promises more security, and can be used to encrypt an entire hard disk. In this case, the encryption uses TCPA/Palladium, and the so-called Fritz chip handles key exchange. We weren't able to activate drive encryption within our testing framework, however.
It's not that easy to activate Bitlocker Drive Encryption to encrypt your drives.
Bitlocker can't be used without a special hard disk configuration.
