Nokia Unveils Massive New Lumia 1520 and 1320 Phablets

Nokia unveiled a whole host of new devices in Abu Dhabi today, but the stars of the show were the Lumia 1520 and the 1320. The former we've been hearing rumors about for a couple of weeks ahead of the event. Nokia made things official this morning and announced the 1320 for good measure.

The Lumai 1320 is also a 6-inch phone but this one is a 720p display. It is a more budget-orientated smartphone and so it trades in the Lumia 1520's Snapdragon 800 for a dual-core Snapdragon 400, as well as 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage (plus 7 GB of SkyDrive), a 5-megapixel camera, LTE support, and the same 3,400 mAh battery as the 1520.

The Lumia 1520 is priced at $749 and will ship before the end of the year to Hong Kong, Singapore, the USA, China, and Europe. The 1320 won't hit until early 2014, where it will go on sale in China and Vietnam before hitting other Asian markets, India, and Europe. When it does go on sale, it will be priced at $399.
