Polaroid Announces 'Kids Tablet 2' Kid-friendly Slate

Kids today are growing up in a world dominated by technology. As a result, the age at which they get their hands on devices like tablets and smartphones continues to drop. That said, many parents are uncomfortable giving their children such expensive or delicate machines. Who wants to spend $500 on an iPad for their 7-year-old only to have him or her crack the screen after a week?

Of course, it wouldn't be a kid-friendly tablet without some kid-friendly content. To that end, Polaroid has jammed 70 apps and books onto the Kids Tablet 2. This includes content from the likes of Disney, Cartoon Network, and Marvel. There's also parental controls in play so you can restrict browsing, camera use, email, search and more.
