Matsushita, best known for its Panasonic consumer brand, today said that it is developing a higher capacity SD memory card. Based on the new SD Specifications Version 2.00, the new SDHC (SD High-Capacity) memory card will offer 4 GB of storage space. A global launch of the card is scheduled for the summer of this year. SDHC cards are believed to reach capacities of up to 32 GB within a few years.
