The Geforce 6800 GT does not react to increased CPU power. The Geforce 7950 GT is able to slightly improve its values with an E2160 at 2400 MHz, either at the 1280 or 1680 resolution without antialiasing, but is at its limit for the others. At 1800 MHz (E2160), the Geforce 8 and 9 are slowed to half of their 3D performance; at 2400 MHz, these graphics chips run at approximately two thirds of maximum capability. With a CPU speed of 2.67 GHz, 3D speed develops well, and if the Q6600 is overclocked to 3200 MHz, it is possible to get further performance benefits from the new graphics card.
