Solidedge V11 has better scaling than Solidworks. Here, the performance differences in the test cards are easier to determine.
The FireGL 8800, i.e., the predecessor to the FireGL X1, scores more points. The reason for this could lie in the rudimentary drivers. The performance of the Quadro4 980XGL is also unusual: it scored a poor last place.
The composite score is important for the evaluation. The FireGL X1 with Solidedge only places in the midfield. An old friend, the 3DLabs Wildcat VP970, even manages second place.
