German manufacturer Alphacool announced a handful of new fittings. These "Eiszapfen" (that's the German word for "icicle") fittings fall under the premium Eis range of products. There are 34 new fittings.
The fittings range from a simple G1/4” plug to extension pieces, 45 degree angled fittings, 90 degree angled fittings, double 45-degree fittings, and more, all in different shapes and sizes.

For soft tube uses, Alphacool built fittings that support tubing with 13, 16, and 19 mm outer diameters and a 10 mm inner diameter. The hard-tubing fittings support 13/10 and 16/10 tubes.
Alphacool said that the new fittings have better chrome and matte black finishes, and that the rotatable connectors are safer and wobble less than the old units.
The Eiszaphen fittings aren’t cheap. U.S. pricing isn’t available yet, but in Europe, a straight G1/4” to 13/10 soft-tubing fitting will cost €6.80. Alphacool will also sell the straight fittings in packs of six at roughly 20 percent off. Of course, larger, angled, or other non-standard fittings will cost a little more, whereas the extension pieces cost a little less.
