Bethesda Announces New 'Fallout' Anthology Collection
In anticipation of Fallout 4 due out later this year, Bethesda has put together a Fallout Anthology bundle containing almost all of the Fallout games ever made.
Fallout has been around for a long time now, and in fact has jumped from one company to another for several years. Bethesda is the current owner of the Fallout IP, and has arguably created the best games in the series. That isn't to say that the old games weren't fun, though. The massive scope of potential content and fun gameplay is what kept companies making new games in this series for so long.
This collection primarily consists of the main games in the series: Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas. These games take place sequentially one after another, and although there were many changes between the games, and they may not even be on the same side of the former United States, some aspects, wink, or hint at the previous game carries over to the next.
The Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas games also come with all of their DLC packs, so users will be able to explore the entirety of the main Fallout series from the beginning, up to where Fallout 4 takes over.
Also included in the bundle is the Fallout Tactics game, which was created by the same company that made the first two games in the series, Interplay Interactive. Although this game is seen as a side-game outside of the main series, it is very similar to the original two games in terms of its gameplay.
The only two currently available Fallout games not present in this anthology are the recently created mobile-only Fallout Shelter game, and the Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel game, which was released on Xbox and PS2 and never ported to PC. These games are also considered side games not in the main series.
The anthology is priced at $49.99, and it will be available September 29.

junkeymonkey it would be nice if the games were fully on the disk without a client like steam and there mandatory content /downloads or internet connection required just to load and play ? like pc games use to be , remember ?? I just cant see paying for a game a 3ed party has more control over it and my pc then I do ? its a shameReply

mrmike_49 $50 is a pretty high price still: Fallout and Fallout 2 have been sold as low as $5 for the pair, FONV and FO3 are both currently (today!) $14 each for Ultimate/GOTY Edition on Steam, regular price being $20 each, and GOG usually sells FO1 and FO2 for $5 eachReply -

i just want a decent sale price of the first 2 games and tactics but apparently bethesda doesn't know what 75% is. -
danlw Hopefully they patch 1 and 2 enough that it will work properly. I remember some of the videos never working properly, and this was when I played them 10-ish years ago.Reply -

No they wont (there is a way to fix it yourself and thats why they wont fix it).
I have fallout 1 2 3 and tactics, new vegas..... not so into it.
Still like Fallout 2 the most. That BOZAR was insanity, with the drawback youd probably kill everything in a 120 degree angle. -

GoG no longer sells any FO games.
But the Humble store still does.
