In anticipation of Fallout 4 due out later this year, Bethesda has put together a Fallout Anthology bundle containing almost all of the Fallout games ever made.
Fallout has been around for a long time now, and in fact has jumped from one company to another for several years. Bethesda is the current owner of the Fallout IP, and has arguably created the best games in the series. That isn't to say that the old games weren't fun, though. The massive scope of potential content and fun gameplay is what kept companies making new games in this series for so long.
This collection primarily consists of the main games in the series: Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas. These games take place sequentially one after another, and although there were many changes between the games, and they may not even be on the same side of the former United States, some aspects, wink, or hint at the previous game carries over to the next.
The Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas games also come with all of their DLC packs, so users will be able to explore the entirety of the main Fallout series from the beginning, up to where Fallout 4 takes over.
Also included in the bundle is the Fallout Tactics game, which was created by the same company that made the first two games in the series, Interplay Interactive. Although this game is seen as a side-game outside of the main series, it is very similar to the original two games in terms of its gameplay.
The only two currently available Fallout games not present in this anthology are the recently created mobile-only Fallout Shelter game, and the Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel game, which was released on Xbox and PS2 and never ported to PC. These games are also considered side games not in the main series.
The anthology is priced at $49.99, and it will be available September 29.
