Power Consumption And Temperature
Biostar’s less-expensive TP45 HP used the least power, while Gigabyte’s extra network controllers and PCI Express hub cost it a few watts. We could have disabled some of the added features to make a fair comparison, but it’s important to know what those added features will cost in terms of energy.
Gigabyte has the best VRM cooling, but second and last place are taken by two motherboards that don’t even use VRM coolers.
