'The Congressman' Is The Next Elusive Target For 'Hitman' Players

Last week, IO Interactive introduced its difficult “Elusive Targets” mode for Hitman, where you had 48 hours and one chance to assassinate a special target. Next week, you’ll have another chance to prove your skills with another Elusive Target named “The Congressman.”

Unlike last week’s target, “The Forger,” (aka Sergei Larin, who was located in the Paris level), next week’s event takes place in the Sapienza map. Your skills will be put to the test as you will plan your attack for the one chance to take out the target.

As a way to incentivize you to succeed in these missions, IO Interactive is providing some cosmetic rewards. If you complete five Elusive Target missions, you gain Agent 47’s signature suit from Hitman: Absolution. Ten successful missions nets you the 47’s suit from Hitman: Blood Money. Additional rewards include variants of the same suits along with gloves for the complete Hitman outfit.

To give you an idea of just how hard it is to complete these Elusive Target missions, the developers gathered the data from the first mission and compiled it to get some interesting results. More than half of all players who tried the challenge were able to complete it (53 percent of all players, to be exact), and it took a mere six minutes for the first player to complete the mission. However, only 9.9 percent of players completed it with a Silent Assassin rating, which means that they killed the target with no witnesses and didn’t kill anyone else. The first person to get the special rating took 34 minutes to take out The Forger before escaping undetected.

Of course, you can take out the target with any method, but it takes a higher skillset to get the Silent Assassin rating. When The Congressman is up for grabs next week, more players will try to join the exclusive few who achieved the top ranking. Many will enter, few will win.

    What the...
    Let me get this right:
You need to buy our game when it comes out or other way you will be missing content that we will only put out once.

And ofc you will need to pay this Episodic crap (more like DLC) to play it.

there will also be full updates that aren't time limited and people are buying this new Hitman game because it's better than the last one.
