XOTIC PC Intros "Phantom X1" Intel i7 Gaming Laptop

XOTIC PC recently launched a new gaming laptop called the Phantom X1. This device comes packed with a 4th-generation Intel Core i7-4710HQ processor, Nvidia's GeForce GTX 860M GPU and a starting price of $1124. Not too shabby.

What this laptop doesn't include out of the box is an operating system. For consumers wanting Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit), they will see $185 tacked onto the final price. Other OS options include Windows 7 Professional (64-bit), Windows 8.1 Pro (32-bit, 64-bit), Windows Home Premium (64-bit) and Windows 8.1 (32-bit, 64-bit).

Given that this laptop is customizable, customers will have a number of options to choose from such as memory, which includes an upgrade to 16 GB of 1866 MHz Crucial Ballistix Sport dual-channel memory. There are also various mSATA SSD options such as the 1 TB Samsung 840 EVO Series Solid State mSATA, a long list of HDD and SSD options, accessories and more.

This new laptop has a standard finish by default, but gamers can choose to add a custom graphic wrap, or one of four themes including Stealth, Carbon Fiber, Camo and Alligator. Customers can also choose to have a personalized text etching on the bottom, on the back of the LCD and around the touchpad (palm rests). Custom colors include Torch Red, Envy Green, Artic White, Admiral Blue, Tuxedo Black and eight more color options.

Gamers looking for an affordable laptop can build the Phantom X1 right here.
