Professional Computer Technology (PCT), the Taiwan agent for Silicon Storage Technology (SST) NOR flash, reported that average selling prices (ASPs) for NOR flash were stable in the first quarter, but it expects growing demand will drive up prices in the second quarter and the second half of the year. PCT said the NOR flash market in 2006 will see demand grow fast for applications for MP3 players, networking products, and LCD TVs.
