Kingston updates performance memory
Next newsKingston today announced new version of its HyperX memory family targeted at gamers and performance hungry applications. The PC-3200 (DDR-400) version now comes with 2-2-2-5-1 timings and is available in a 1 GB configuration. PC-6400 (DDR2-800) memory now supports 4-4-4-12 timings and is available in 512 MB and 1 GB models.
The 1 GB DDR-400 device is available for $140 suggested retail. The 512 MB DDR2-800 sells for $103 and the 1 GB version for $205. There are also 2 GB kits available for $278 (DDR-400) and $393 (DDR2-800).
