Zotac Previews Steam Machine That Piggybacks Your Display
Zotac's Steam Machine will be super small.
Zotac has revealed its Steam Machine offering, but it won't be ready for sale until the summer. What we can tell you is that Zotac is aiming for a sub-$1000 price point that will include an Intel Core processor with Nvidia GeForce GTX graphics.
Branded under its Zbox brand, the Zotac Steam Machine is in a compact mini-PC form factor that's smaller than mini-ITX based gaming systems.
Exterior enhancements to the Zotac Steam Machine include an all-black third-generation Zbox chassis with orange lighting. Of course, Zotac's Steam Machine offering will ship with SteamOS preinstalled and include the Steam Controller.
We expect the Zbox Steam Machine to reach retailers in the second half of 2014. More details will be released closer to the launch date.

Novuake GTX650 at best(unless they go for a mobile GPU, which I doubt). And even that will be a mission to cool.Reply -
brandonjclark @Patrick. You are probably thinking of the term THIN CLIENT. It depends on how they are used, but I can tell you from experience that if implemented properly they greatly reduce the number of IT headaches.Reply -
Durandul If that thing were powered by tegra K1...Reply
I suppose that's impossible though, given that it's running with intel... -
lostgamer_03 I believe we will see some mobile hardware in this PC, getting full fledged desktop components will be too hot, unless Zotac brings some new revolutionary cooling technology on the market, which I don't believe is the case.Reply -
back_by_demand Steam machine, you mean a gaming PC right? Seeing as I like playing the other 90% of my Steam collection I would install Windows on it right awayReply
