HP Redesigns Chromebook 11 to Look Like Chromebook 14
Alongside its brand new Android-based notebooks the SlateBook 14, HP has also introduced us to a new Chromebook that it is adding to its repertoire this summer. This is a refresh of the current generation Chromebook 11 but repackaged so it is visually more similar to the Chromebook 14. That means instead of being available in just black and white, you’ll also have a choice of snow white and "ocean turquoise."
Under the hood, you’re looking at an 11.6-inch display (1366 x 768), Samsung’s Exyos 5250 chipset, up to 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, 6.25 hours of battery and a starting price of $249. There’s also optional integrated 3G for those that want to take their Chromebook 11 on the road. As eagle-eyed readers will notice, the guts of this laptop have not changed at all, though the battery should last just a smidgen longer.
No word on when this baby will become available but we’ll keep you posted.

Brent711 OK, tracked down the missing quoted sources in the article. The price in the article is also in error. I tracked down the "official" PRESS RELEASE from HP that was released today.
