Finding the Best 19" LCD Monitor for Your Application
Sony SDM-HS94P
More recent than the Sony SDM-HS94, the Sony SDM-HS94P has a similar design and a lower latency of 12 ms. But 12 ms can mean a lot of different things depending on whether you're talking about an LG or AU Optronics panel; so we tested.

Design
The design of the Sony SDM-HS94P is all but identical to that of the SDM-HS94. It has the same spare lines, good build quality and the little pluses that make Sony products so nice to look at. There's no point in spending a lot of time on the issue - everybody knows that Sony makes good-looking products.
Ergonomics
Here again, Sony's long experience is evident. The OSD is an exact copy of the SDM-HS94's, and that's all to the good. On the other hand, the panel still has a limited range of tilt adjustment, and still no height adjustment. The dual-lamp backlighting was a little hard to get used to, but after a period of adaptation we managed to get a satisfactory adjustment.
