GOG Kicks Off #NoDRM Summer Sale with Free Torchlight

Now that we're firmly entrenched in summer, it means it's time to bring out your wallets in anticipation of summer game sales.

GOG isn't one to make people wait and has mercifully kicked off its summer sale early. You know what this means: great, DRM-free PC games for cheap.

To celebrate its #NoDRM sale, GOG is selling Runic Games's action-RPG, dungeon crawler Torchlight for free. Get it now while you can, because Torchlight will no longer be free after today.

Other games on sale include The Witcher 2 for 5.99 at 70% off, Don't Starve for $9.99 at 33% off, Slender: The Arrival for $4.99 at 50% off, and Miasmata for $3.74 at 70% off.

Over 500 games are discounted. Head to GOG's catalogue to see what oldies you can grab for cheap.

Good thing I also read RockPaperShotgun, or I would've missed Torchlight for free. No point in releasing an article after the sale has ended.

It's verified. But, the sale ended on the 20th. Toms posted this article on the 21st. 24 hours after the sale ended.

I got it when the sale started. Granted, I already have a Steam copy so this might not look like a big deal... but it is! Sharing games with my son is not easy with Steam so I've given up on that.

Yup, late again but the "Fair and Square" selection is nice. Deus Ex 1-2 and Thief 1-3 and the other 2 games are a very good deal. All very nice games to have.
