This £159 Gigabyte GS27QC gaming monitor deal is the perfect pick for 1440p gaming on a budget.
All the specs, but without the high price tag
It's not too long ago that a monitor with these specifications would easily set you back £300 or more, but thanks to mass adoption and economies of scale, the cost of this type of monitor has plummeted to much more affordable levels. All this is great news for PC gamers on a budget, as the low price, paired with a decent money-off deal, nets you a fantastic 1440p monitor.
To see this monitor bargain, head to Amazon, where the Gigabyte GS27QC 27-inch Curved Gaming monitor is just £159. This is a markdown of £40 on the £199 list price. Checking the Amazon price checking tool, the Camelizer, it shows that this is a genuine price drop, although not the lowest-ever price that this monitor has been on sale for. That was £139 in the Black Friday sales of 2024.
We reviewed the Gigabyte GS27QC gaming monitor in late 2023 and found the monitor to have a good color calibration out of the box, premium quality video processing with low input lag, and a sharp image with solid contrast. Even the build quality is solid. The only negatives in our review were that no speakers, USB ports, or LED lighting are included with this monitor, and that it has less color volume than some other wide gamut displays.
