Good, But Not Better
The Dell 2405FPW performed respectably as tested by the calibrator.

Color reproduction was what you'd expect from Dell, but at the expense of excessive brightness.

The black level was good but the brightness Is frankly too high for long-term use, unless it's CAD on a black background. Forget this monitor for office applications. Conversely, contrast was very stable, supporting a wide range of adjustments.

Since we tested this unit before we adopted our new test method, we can't show you a color gamut for this monitor.
