Do The New 19" LCDs Pass Muster?
Iiyama E481S
Iiyama's E481S is a monitor that uses an 8 ms panel. It is virtually the same as its sibling model, the E480S (an entry-level model available only in Europe) but represents a more complete solution. Only connectivity and mechanical aspects distinguish the two models, yet the price reflects the difference.

Design And Finish
Iiyama has gone with a sober design here; the only nod to stylishness on this model is the shiny black finish. The plastics are of good quality and the assembly is fairly good.
Ergonomics
The E481S not only has a tilt adjustment, it also offers height adjustment and a pivot mode, as well as a rotating panel support that lets you turn the screen to the right or left without touching the base.
