Tatung To Develop Complete Solar Systems, Says Chairman
WS Lin, chairman of Tatung, who is also the chairman of Green Energy Technology, indicated that Tatung’s solar businesses are maturing and that the company expects to begin officially offering full solar system solutions this year. Tatung has a complete market deployment in the solar business, with Green Energy responsible for solar wafers and thin-film solar cell production and Apollo Solar Energy responsible for solar module production - Forward Electronics, a Tatung subsidiary, holds a 45% stake in Apollo Solar.
