TSMC Chang Positive About 450 Mm Wafer Migration

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) chairman Morris Chang is positive about the migration to 18" wafer production, saying that TSMC is doing broad scale development of 18" production. Chang indicated that TSMC is doing broad scale development and research for 18" wafer production, with primary concerns being economy of production among equipment makers, chipmakers and customers.
