IC Design Houses And Distributors Talk Up Olympic Demand
Some IC design houses and distributors expect notable growth in July this year because many handset and consumer electronics (CE) manufactures have begun to build up inventory leading up to the 2008 Olympics in China. Due to the upcoming Olympics, the security and customs inspection in China have become more rigid, which means the speed of passing through customs will become increasingly more difficult as the Olympics approach.
